Stainless steel turned parts. Corrosion-resistant, to drawing.
Precision turned parts in rust- and acid-resistant stainless steel up to Ø 42 mm. From 1.4305 for series production to 1.4404 for medical and food technology.
Stainless steel turned parts to your drawing – in the materials that set the standard in medical technology, the food industry and hydraulics.
Stainless steel is one of the materials we machine most. On our CNC Swiss-type automatics we manufacture rotationally symmetric stainless steel turned parts up to Ø 42 mm – reproducible from the very first unit, in small and large series.
The choice of grade determines corrosion resistance and machinability. For easy-machining series parts we use the free-cutting stainless steel 1.4305. Where resistance to chlorides and acids is required – for example in medical or food technology – we machine 1.4404 (316L) and the titanium-stabilized 1.4571.
Stainless steel tends to work-harden and places high demands on cutting parameters and tool life. Over seven decades of turning practice we have tuned our processes accordingly: tight tolerances, defined surface finish and passivated, burr-free components.
