Brass turned parts. Best machinability, clean surface.
Precision turned parts in brass up to Ø 42 mm. From the classic CW614N to lead-free drinking-water alloys – in small and large series.
Brass turned parts to your drawing – the material with the highest machinability and the most decorative surface in the turned-part range.
Brass is the ideal material for high volumes with short cycle times: machinability is excellent, and surfaces come out clean and bright without secondary finishing. We turn brass precision parts up to Ø 42 mm in any lot size.
The standard is the leaded free-machining alloy CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) with excellent chip breaking. For drinking-water and sanitary applications subject to the EU Drinking Water Directive, we use lead-free, dezincification-resistant alloys such as CW724R.
Its good electrical and thermal conductivity makes brass the preferred material for contact and connector parts in electrical engineering. Brass is also the first choice for decorative visible parts.
