Titanium turned parts. Biocompatible and high-strength.
Precision turned parts in titanium up to Ø 42 mm. From commercially pure Grade 2 to Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5/23) – for medical technology and demanding applications.
Titanium turned parts to your drawing – the high-performance material for medical technology, combining strength, low weight and biocompatibility.
Titanium is the most demanding material in our turning program – and one where our location in the district of Tuttlingen, the world center of medical technology, counts most. We turn titanium precision parts up to Ø 42 mm.
Commercially pure titanium Grade 2 (3.7035) is readily formable and corrosion-resistant. Where maximum strength at low weight is required, we machine the alloy Ti-6Al-4V as Grade 5 (3.7165) and in the extra-pure variant Grade 23 (ELI) for medical applications.
Titanium places high demands on cutting parameters, cooling and tooling: low thermal conductivity and chemical reactivity call for a controlled process. This process reliability – including material traceability and documentation – is part of our ISO 9001 quality management.
